We use a heavy grade stabilizer for under all of the designs that are NOT free standing lace designs.  For monograms or alphabets on top of towels use a layer of water soluable stabilizer on the top of the towel, and a good grade of tear away under the towel, when you hoop. Designs have been tested on a variety of machines.  Some machines have to have the lower tension LOOSENED, and some machines work better if you use the density button on the machine and make it less dense for that machine. Not all machines are alike so it is impossible to guarentee exact result for all machines.  We have done our best to create designs that work across a wide span of home embroidery machines.
